A devoted teacher and lifelong learner, she brings her love of language and cultural tradition into every piece she creates—whether it’s a picture book, reflective essay, or midrashic narrative. Her work invites readers of all ages to see themselves with compassion and courage. Mary is the author of Good Night, Malcolm and Malcolm Makes His First Challah (coming soon), stories inspired by the joys of motherhood and intergenerational connection. When she’s not teaching or writing, she enjoys quiet mornings, caring for her beloved dog Patrick, and finding wonder in life’s everyday rituals.
